Founded in 2020, KisanBox emerged from a simple yet powerful vision: to eliminate the barriers between Maharashtra's hardworking farmers and the markets that need their fresh, quality produce.
Our founders, themselves from farming families in rural Maharashtra, witnessed firsthand the challenges farmers faced in getting fair prices for their crops. Middlemen dominated the supply chain, farmers lacked direct market access, and consumers paid high prices for produce that often lost its freshness during long distribution chains.
Today, KisanBox serves as a bridge connecting over 1,000 farmers across 25+ districts in Maharashtra with wholesalers, retailers, and export markets. We've facilitated millions of rupees in direct transactions, ensuring farmers get better prices while consumers receive fresher, quality produce.
